🥚 Oval

Oval faces are considered the most balanced — slightly wider at the cheekbones, with a gently narrowed forehead and jaw. Most makeup techniques work well. Contour lightly along the temples and under the cheekbones to maintain dimension. Apply blush diagonally across the cheekbones. Brows can follow any shape that suits your natural hair.

🔵 Round

Round faces have similar width and length with soft, curved edges. Contouring adds structure: apply bronzer/contour along the sides of the forehead, under the cheekbones, and along the jawline. Avoid placing blush on the apples of the cheeks — instead sweep it diagonally upward toward the temples. Elongated brows with a defined arch help to add vertical length visually.

⬛ Square

Square faces have strong, defined jawlines and equally wide foreheads. Soften the angles with contour applied to the sides of the forehead and corners of the jaw. A rounded blush application — circular strokes on the cheek centre — softens the overall shape. Slightly arched brows balance the angularity of the jaw.

♥️ Heart

Heart-shaped faces are wider at the forehead and temple and taper to a narrow chin. Contour the sides of the forehead and temples to reduce width at the top. Apply blush low on the cheekbones to draw the eye downward and add width to the lower face. A flat or slightly arched brow reduces width at the forehead.

💎 Diamond

Diamond faces are widest at the cheekbones with a narrow forehead and chin. Highlight the forehead and chin to add width. Contour under the cheekbones more lightly than other shapes to avoid over-emphasising the width. Curved brow shapes with fullness at the front help to widen the forehead area visually.

📏 Oblong / Rectangle

Oblong faces are longer than they are wide, with similar widths at forehead, cheeks, and jaw. Minimise vertical length by applying contour at the hairline and below the chin. Apply blush horizontally across the cheekbones to add width. Full, flat brows (avoid very high arches) keep the face from looking longer.
